Help Needed This Fall

Staff Breakfast
Mark your calendar now for the Staff Week Breakfast on Tuesday, August 21 at 9 am. We'd love to have a few parents help host a PTA breakfast to kick off the new school year as our staff return to the building. Please sign up to bring a breakfast item or help at the event. Parents are invited to socialize with staff and stay for Principal Rathke's welcome address to the staff. Email the PTA with questions: justicepagepta@gmail.com.

DJ
Do we have any DJs in the house? Principal Rathke is looking for a DJ to help support teacher welcome week on Tuesday, August 21. If you think this may be the right gig for you, please contact Erin Rathke at erin.rathke@mpls.k12.mn.us.

Graphic Design Help Wanted
JPS is looking for volunteer assistance in designing a full-color brochure for prospective families. If you’re comfortable with text layouts, bleeds, and cut lines, and would be willing to donate your skills, please reach out to Mary Jackson at mary.jackson@mpls.k12.mn.us, Erin Rathke at erin.rathke@mpls.k12.mn.us, or 612.668.4040.

Orientation Helpers
Orientation nights require lots of volunteer support! If you’re able to spare some time on one or both orientation nights, we’d love to have your help. Please sign up to volunteer for 6th Grade Orientation on Wednesday, August 22, and/or 7th/8th Grade Orientation on Thursday, August 23.

Media Center Volunteers
Justice Page Middle School does not have a Media Specialist. As a result, our Media Center is usually kept closed. We'd like to open it up two days a week, so that kids can check books in and out before, during, and after school. If you have some free time and would like to put books away, do some light housekeeping, process new books, or just relax with a book while being available to answer questions and monitor book checkout, join us in the Media Center!

House Retreat Helpers
As part of our house retreats during the second week of school, the students will be tie-dying t-shirts! We could use a few volunteers from 9:30 am to 12 pm on Tuesday, September 4 (6th grade) or Wednesday, September 5 (7th grade), and/or 1 to 4 pm Wednesday, September 5 (8th grade) to help direct students. Sign up here.
