Keeping in Touch with JPS

Justice Page Middle School communicates information to families in a number of ways:


  • Used for periodic important announcements
  • Sent as needed, via email, phone, and/or text
  • To receive communications from the school, you need to have your preferences set up correctly. Log in to Under your name in the upper right corner, click Preferences. This will display any phone numbers and email addresses associated with your student(s). You can change your preferences for each individual contact method, or by message type.
  • If you do not yet have a School Messenger account, you will need to sign up and associate the account with your student. Be sure to use the same email address you use for the Parent Portal.

Newsletter: Around the Horn

  • Announcements and information about school events
  • Sent each Wednesday via email
  • Also accessible from the home page of the JPS website

  • To receive the newsletter, you must have an email address set up to receive Updates from School. See the instructions for SchoolMessenger, above, to verify your settings.
  • If you believe your contact preferences are set correctly, but you are not receiving Around the Horn, contact


  • Newsletter articles and most urgent information
  • News articles updated weekly during the school year
  • Lots of additional information: teacher webpages, school policies, after school activities, etc.

Parent Portal:

  • Teachers use the Parent Portal to update student progress in each class.
  • We recommend families check the portal at least once per week together to stay on top of student performance and ask teachers any questions you have.
