FAST Student Reports
Wednesday, November 08, 2017 10:00 AM

FAST student reports have been mailed to all families. Please contact the main office at (612) 668-4040 if you did not receive your student’s report.

FAST stands for Formative Assessment System for Teachers. FAST assessments help us determine your student’s achievement level and allow us to measure academic growth in the areas of reading and math. The aReading and aMath assessments are given on a computer, each take about 10-30 minutes, and the assessments get harder or easier based on how your student responds.

FAST student reports describe how your student performed on the Fall aReading and aMath assessments. As with any test, we recognize that this score does not tell us everything there is to know about your student’s reading or math ability. Your student’s teachers will use this as one tool in addition to other information gathered throughout the school year to understand how your student is progressing in grade-level reading and math. If you have additional questions about your student’s FAST results, please feel free to reach out to Angie Ness at angie.ness@mpls.k12.mn.us.
