Our Food Pantry provides food-insecure students and their families with vital nutrition in a stigma-free environment. We provide access to food for children and their families both during the day and after the school day has ended. The Food Pantry helps to fill an important gap, relieving the burden and anxiety a family may face when they aren't sure where their next meal may come from. And it helps students focus on their education, not hungry stomachs.
Food Pantry items are donated from a number of sources, including the "We Scare Hunger Food Drive." Students in need work with our Social Workers to receive food items to take home.
If you are interested in donating to the Food Pantry, we are always in need of:
- macaroni and cheese
- Campbell's chunky soup
- SpahettiOs
- ramen noodles
- peanut butter
- canned tuna
- canned chicken
- single-serving canned fruit-pears, peaches, applesauce
- gift cards to Cub Foods, Walmart, Super America, Target
- manual can openers
Our greatest current need is gift cards, especially when the holiday season is approaching!
Donations can be brought to Cassie Zonnefeld (105C) or the main office.
