My name in Shannon Tenner and I am both thrilled and honored to be the new principal of Justice Page Middle School. I have a little over 20+ years within education. Fifteen of those years have been within Minneapolis Public Schools within the roles of Special Education Assistant (SEA), Dean of Students, Special Education Teacher, Special Education Coordinator and most recently Assistant Principal at Washburn High School.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling, hanging out with my recently turned 13 year old daughter, my dog (Balto), playing softball and bowling. Though we are entering this school year with challenges created by the pandemic and the civil unrest, please know that we are going to work through those challenges together and will come out on the other side amazed at what we gleaned and how much we grew from them.
I look forward to meeting and getting to know you all. Thus far I've heard teachers speak on how dynamic Justice Page students are and I've had parents and families share how awesome Justice Page staff are and the appreciation of having such a close knit Justice Page Community as a whole. Again, I'm honored to be a part of the Justice Page Community and very proud to be serving in the role as Principal.
Here's to an awesome school year, even during a pandemic!
