Britt Engrav

Hello!
My name is Britt Engrav, and I am a Licensed School Social Worker at Justice Page Middle School. I work with general education students in grades 6th and half of 7th grade (alpha A-K), and I support students in Special Education who have Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and am the coordinator for 6th grade 504 plans.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in Sociology/Law and my Master of Social Work degree from Augsburg College. I am currently a doctoral student working on my Doctor of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California. I have had the privilege of working as a social worker for nearly 21 years with this being my 7th year in the Minneapolis Public School district. I am also a product of the Minneapolis Public School system, and my children also attend schools in MPS. Go MPS!
I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with students at Justice Page Middle School. In my work as a school social worker, I focus on building strong and positive relationships with students while providing an empathic and safe space to support adolescent emotional and mental health. I strive to partner with families and students with their individual goals that will foster a secure and supportive middle school experience while supporting learning.
Outside of work, I enjoy biking, swimming, traveling as much as possible to the ocean, and spending time in nature with my family. I am so proud to be a part of the Justice Page Middle school community and to be involved with such a strong and dedicated team! Go Rhinos!
