The Ramsey cooking legacy continues. Ramsey 8th grader Max M. and his team won this year's competition on Monday night! Max cooked alongside Riyan S. from Marcy Open School and Chef Lucas Rosenbrook of Café Alma. Their team prepared a turkey chorizo tostada with chile braised lentils with ginger lime slaw. This recipe will be served next year for a MN Thursday meal!

Max and his team will now advance on to the Superbowl Edition Jr. Iron Chef Competition. This competition will be held next fall, hosted by MPS Culinary & Wellness Services in partnership with the Superbowl Legacy Fund and Cargill Foundation. Ramsey students have now won Jr. Iron Chef two years in a row; let’s see if we can get a third victory in the fall!
