Tara Kroger
Hello everyone! My name is Tara Kroger and this year I am teaching Math 6, Telescoped Math 7/Algebra 8, and am a 6th grade Crew leader here at Justice Page Middle School.
I have my Bachelor of Arts from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN, in Elementary Education with emphasis on Middle School Mathematics. I have taught in Minneapolis Public Schools for the past 15 years. I have had the privilege of teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade mathematics as well as been a part of district teams creating curriculum/guides for our young mathematicians.
When I am not busy teaching students to appreciate the world of mathematics I spend time with my husband, throw footballs and play soccer with my son (Hudson), and color with my daughter (Claire). I love to be active in the form of running and yoga, cooking, and watch Minnesota sports teams win (That is always the hope!).
