Mindful Moments

On Monday, September 10, we will be introducing Mindful Moments at Justice Page. Our entire school community will take a moment or two at the beginning of 5th hour to be mindful. We will take a few breaths, sit quietly, and get centered for the last few hours of the day.

Mindfulness practices help people improve their ability to pay attention by learning to focus on one thing (e.g., breath, sound) while filtering out other stimuli. Mindfulness also provides students with skills for understanding their emotions and how to work with them.
