Amber Nelson

Hello! I'm Amber Nelson, one of the Autism Teachers here at Justice Page Middle School! I started here in 2012 as one of the founding teachers of the new Ramsey Middle School, now Justice Page! I have been in the district for 12 years working as an Autism teacher. Prior to Justice Page I was at Andersen United Community School as a Kindergaren, 1st and 2nd grade teacher. As one of the Autism teachers, I collaborate with teachers and support staff and students in the mainstream academic setting, develop customized curricula for each of my students, teach academic, social, communication, functional, and daily living skills. I enjoy teaching all students and helping them reach their full potential!

I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Masters degree in Special Education from the University of Minnesota. I hold teaching licenses in Developmental Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders and Work Coordinator. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family/friends and volunteering at my church.
