Our 7th grade Crews are working on several service learning projects, some of which are looking for donations.

Ms. Kroger's Crew chose to create care kits for the Hope Street Shelter to help homeless people who are struggling with hunger. They are collecting donations of granola bars, crackers, socks, and several other items to be included in the care kits. See their full list of donations wanted. Donations for this project should be dropped off by Tuesday, May 21 in the main office labeled for Ms. Kroger, room 324. Further questions about this project can be directed to Ms. Kroger at tara.kroger@mpls.k12.mn.us.

Ms. Marban’s Crew is making toys for the animals at the Animal Humane Society. They are also delivering donations to the Animal Humane Society. They would appreciate donations of unopened pet food, powdered laundry detergent, disinfectant wipes, and more. See their full list of donations wanted. Donations for this project should be dropped off to Ms. Marban in room 201, or to the main office labeled for Ms. Marban, by Tuesday, May 21. Questions about this project can be directed to Ms. Marban at rebecca.marban@mpls.k12.mn.us.

Ms. Novak's Crew chose to make fleece tie-blankets to donate to People Serving People. The blankets will be given to families who are transitioning to a permanent residence. Ms. Novak's crew would graciously accept fleece material to make the blankets, as well as money donations to purchase fleece. Donations for this project should be dropped off by Tuesday, May 21 in the main office labeled for Ms. Novak, room 323.
