Sixth Grade Math Competition

A group of 16 JPS sixth graders dominated the MPS 5th and 6th grade district math competition on Saturday, May 4. They solved challenging problems both as individuals and as teams, which resulted in a near sweep by Justice Page Middle School. Students earned the following awards:

1st Place Team: Evan B, Jason M, Matt M, Nathan R
2nd Place Team: Clara W, Silas F, Tallulah L, Scarlet L
3rd Place Team: Ryan H, Bryson S, Reese F, Anton N

Nathan R, Ryan H, and Bryson S earned 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place honors, respectively, in the individual competition.

Bryson S and Elliot T took home the 1st and 2nd place ribbons, respectively, for the fact drills competition.

Pieter B, Henry P, Braeden T rounded out the JPS contingent, all of whom worked hard to bring home the 1st place overall honors.
