Hello!

My name is Rebecca Zender, and I am one of the math teachers at Justice Page Middle School. This is my third year at Justice Page, and I am so thankful to be a part of the Justice Page community. During the 2019-2020 school year, I will teach Algebra 8, Geometry, and Focus Math 8. I will also serve as an 8th grade Crew leader. 

I am originally from Madison, Wisconsin but moved to Minneapolis for college. I received my Bachelor’s of Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in 2014. After finishing my undergraduate studies, I served one year with Minnesota Math Corps where I discovered my passion for working with students and for helping to make math more accessible to all students. I earned my 5-12 Mathematics teaching license from Augsburg College (now Augsburg University), and I am currently working towards my Master of Arts in Education degree from Augsburg as well.

When I am not teaching, I like to spend time with friends and family, read, spend time outside, listen to podcasts, play board games and card games, and go to trivia nights.
